Architect Role

Defines the solution architecture based on technology capabilities.
Has broad understanding of various technologies in order to make accurate technical design and decisions.
Involved early in the presales phase to create accurate estimate of time and resources.
Transfers know-how to developers.
Supports developers during the development phase.
Create architecture guide.
Sometimes creates solution prototype.

Development Role

Are responsible for building the solution – either from scratch, customizing, or extending a Microsoft product.
Are required to follow and work under known development best practices as unit testing, code reviews, daily builds, source control, bug tracking system, and design patterns.
Are in direct collaboration with the business analytics and the QAs.
Do technology validations – they experiment with the new technology, and provide valuable feedback to the architects and PMs.
Do what they do best: write code!
Can build technical and architecture skills.
Only if they want to, they can build business skills and participate in client meetings, defining the solution, presales process, etc.

Project Managers (PM)

Ensure that everyone is aware of their tasks and they help everyone to reach their goals.
Must have good people management, communication, and time management skills.
Project Managers are very often our sales force.
Are the communication node.

Business Analyst Role

Participate in clients meetings to define the solution scope.
Work mostly with the client both onsite and remotely.
Create business documents – vision scope documents, business processes, usage scenarions, and others.
Ensure that the project we are going to build actually will solve the client’s business problems.

Infrastructure Consultant Role

Are responsible for the infrastructure part of the solutions – building test environments, deploying and configuring production environment, ensuring.
Create documents such as configuration guides, deployment guides.

Trainer & Presenter Role

Quality Assurance, Test Role

Ensure the quality of the solution, as seen by the end users.
Ensure that our solutions meet the appropriate quality level.
Create test plans, testing scenarios, and test cases.
Perform the test cases and write bug reports.
Often create the user manuals and user guides, and perform the end-user trainings.

Support role

Assist our clients with the ongoing maintenance and operations of the solution.
Document the resolution of problems, so that you don’t have to deal with the same problems over and over again.
