One of the leading banks in Bulgaria improves control and visibility in its credit processes with SharePoint
BEFORE:ProCredit Bank used to manage its credit processes by using emails with Lotus Notes. ProCredit has identified the following challenges with their current process:
- Difficult and error-prone communication between front offices and headquarters
- No control the execution of the process
- Lack of real-time reporting, measurement and improvement of the process
Today, all documents related to the bank’s credit process and the whole communication between the departments is managed by a SharePoint workflow. The system enables Credit experts to collect documents from the customer, register them in the system and submit them to the HQ. After that, a workflow manages a several-staged evaluation and approval process by the credit specialists’ team centrally at ProCredit’s headquarters.
Some of the benefits from the implemented solution include:
- Improved collaboration and communication between the front offices and the headquarters (no communication lost)
- Better control and visibility, higher productivity and increased efficiency
- Real-time operational and management reports enabling efficient monitoring and analysis of the credit process.
After the successful implementation of the first project for credit management of
corporate customers, ProCredit and Abilitics continue with the implementation of
the process for private individuals, as well as implementing additional internal
approval processes on top of SharePoint.
